Frightmare Compound Costume Drive
Frightmare Compound amplified kindness through horror and generosity. Josh and his partner Marisa continue to take our breath away one way or another, whether it be out of fear due to the terrifying, haunted house or through their amazing charity. Every year they give victims brave enough to face their haunted attraction the opportunity to have their ticket upgraded from general admission to VIP if they donate a brand-new children’s Halloween costume to their costume drive. This year they wrote a children’s book “Frightmare Haunted House” and all proceeds went to purchasing costumes to ensure they had enough to make as many children’s Halloween dreams come true. This book is so creative and fun, it plays out all new scenes in the haunted house in a not so scary way! It might be meant for children, but we are sure everyone will be enjoying it, and this will be the start of a new Halloween family tradition in everyone’s home!
Josh and his family gave Haunt on Wheels an insider’s glimpse into how they give back to the community by inviting us to participate in the costume drive, and we can tell you right now, it was a emotionally moving day that we just won’t forget! Watching the joy on the children’s faces as they search through all the bins for the perfect costume brought so much happiness to everyone helping. If we were not sure before this event, we are now, it is obvious frightmare compound is so much more than a terrifying haunted house. This family-owned organization stands for kindness, supporting their community and giving back in an innovative and creative way. When speaking to family members of frightmare compound, they all spoke of how charity brings love and excitement into their lives and how having the haunted house helps them connect with each other and their community. We think their genuine dedication to the community and willingness to build as a family along with the uncanny way they can connect with others so deeply, are the things that will always set them apart.
As our haunt season starts to wrap up for the year and everyone ponders what events they may haunt with us come next October consider giving to this one! No matter what…
As Always Come Haunt with Us!
